We will start late, so you are able to sleep long and enjoy the morning in your hotel. We will pick you up between the late forenoon and mid-day and will drive to a wonderful cenote for bathing, swimming, and having fun. Trough a long stairway downstairs, we will reach the waterline where the water is really refreshing and will invite you for a bath. A small waterfall falls over the border of the cenote to the inner, brave guests can use a small diving platform, all others can use stairs into the water. We will have enough time for taking wonderful pictures, relaxing, and enjoying.

After that, we will visit a typical ancient hacienda and have dinner. The big buffet is full of typical sweet meats and we can prepare ourselves for the evening. Together, we will enjoy our dinner and we will get to know each other a little bit more.

After the delicious meal, we will drive to the spanish colonial city Valladolid, where we will do a small walk over the market place. We have time for the flair of the cathedrale and for watching the bustle on the small market or taking pictures. Explore this lovely, spanish colonial city.

Then, we will drive to Chichén Itzá and look forward to the spectacle, which is waiting for us. The UNESCO World Heritage Site Chichén Itzá is the most important and best-kown Mayan archaeological site on the Yucatán Penísula and is visited by thousands of tourists every day. Enjoy the tranquility of this mystical place while our English-speaking guide explains everything about the ruined city, telling the stories about the Mayan people. In the meantime, the sky gets dark and we will have time to admire the illuminated highlight of Chichén Itzá and take pictures. We will take our seats for the light and sound show on the breath-taking Kukulkan pyramid and will be part of the Mayan history.

• Pick up at lobbies of all hotels in Playa del Carmen to Dreams Tulum. Please inquire before booking about the location of your hotel
• Hotels in Tulum, Cancun, Puerto Morelos, as well as hotels north of Playa del Carmen: Pick up at the meeting point Colectivo terminal in Playa del Carmen or meeting point
• The transfer to Playa del Carmen (with the Colectivo shared minivans) can be made by any person in any hotel for about 2 to 3 USD very easy, safe, and inexpensive. The white Colectivo minivans begins to transit from 5AM in different directions and pass by every 5 to 10 minutes towards Playa del Carmen

Duration of tour:

• The travel time to Chichén Itzá is about 2 hours from the center of Playa del Carmen (depending on the route, traffic and without pick-ups). Please note this in your tour planning

• This tour need good weather conditions, if the weather forecast is bad or there is a dense could cover, the show cannot take place and with it the whole tour.
• We will NOT see the highlights of CHichén Itzá during the sunset, but in the dark and illuminated by special effects.
• The tour will start mid-day, please have breakfast before the tour starts because we will have our dinner in the afternoon.
• We will buy the tickets for entrance in advance. Nevertheless, it is possible that we have to wait in front of the entrance until we are allowed to get in.
• In Chichén Itzá, everyone has time to see the highlights and take pictures. Santi Tour will accompany the group and take pictures, but you can also use this time to yourself.
• We will do our best but we cannot guarantee seats next to each other
• It is not allowed to take pictures with flash during the light show. Please respect the other guests while taking pictures and filming
• It is not allowed to enter the lawn area in front of the pyramid
• The government charges 45 MXN per device for carrying professional video cameras and action cameras in Chichen Itzá. This is not included in our prices and would have to be paid by yourself!
• We kindly ask you to protect our reefs, cenotes, and animals by avoiding sunscreen. They get impacted hugely by the damage of nature, even if it's biodegradable. Please use special Lycra shirts with UV protection instead.
• Our tour is also suitable for children. Please bring swimming aids!
• We are not allowed to bring drinks or food to the light show, except of water.
• Backpacks or big bags have ti be stowed in the bus. It is not allowed to bring them to the show.
• After the show, we will quickly go to the bus to bring you back to your hotels as soon as possible.
• The temperatures in Chichen Itzá are even higher than it is on the coast, please wear a hat.
• This tour is a full day tour, the return from Playa del Carmen is around 12 pm  (depending on traffic, weather, events, etc). However, we cannot guarantee this.
• For all guests, we will dim the light on the bus and lower the music or turn it off on the way back.
• You can bring a small pillow for the bus.

Payment options:

• The payment of our tours can be done in CASH the day of the tour. We accept US Dollars, Mexican Pesos, or Euro (at the current daily exchange rate). It is not possible to pay with credit card or bank transfer.
• We ask for your understanding, just for the fairness of the other guests, we cannot drive to any banks or ATMs to exchange or withdraw money.
