The UNESCO World Heritage Site Chichen Itza is the most important and best-known Mayan archaeological site on the Yucatán Peninsula and is visited by thousands of tourists every day. You do not like mass tourism? With us, you start early and experience one of the 7 wonders of the Maya, even before the large crowds of visitors reach the ruins. Enjoy the tranquility of this mystical place, while our English-speaking guide explains everything about the ruined city, telling the stories about the Maya and Toltec people. Discover the impressive Kukulkan pyramid with it’s 91 steps, truly a masterpiece of the Maya. During the guided tour you will visit other interesting places such as the ball court and the observatory as well as a cenote, while hearing their amazing, complicated, and mysterious history. 

After this exciting cultural experience, you have earned a rest. We will drive away from the big crowds to a wonderful, open, cenote with lush vegetation and we will have time to swim in the refreshing water. A staircase leads you to the water level, who would like to jump into the cool water?

In the restaurant next door we will enjoy a common, local lunch from a large buffet. After our refreshment, we will continue with our two options - Tequila distillery or zip lining. 

Option 1: In our tour through the production, watch how pure tequila is made from agaves. We will look at the small factory together and learn a lot about the Tequila and the differences from Mezcal. A fun Tequila rehearsal with sombreros will be also part of our program and fun is guaranteed. This is a unique experience, even if you do not drink alcohol.

Option 2: swing yourself high above the jungle on our zip lines - there are three big slacks and the highest is 34 m ! An amazing feeling with lots of adrenaline...  Kids have to be minimum 6 years and minimum weight is 25 kg

• Pick up at lobbies of all hotels in Playa del Carmen to Dreams Tulum. Please inquire before booking about the location of your hotel
• Hotels in Tulum, Cancun, Puerto Morelos, as well as hotels north of Playa del Carmen: Pick up at the meeting point Colectivo terminal in Playa del Carmen or meeting point
• The transfer to Playa del Carmen (with the Colectivo shared minivans) can be made by any person in any hotel for about 2 to 3 USD very easy, safe, and inexpensive. The white Colectivo minivans begins to transit from 5AM in different directions and pass by every 5 to 10 minutes towards Playa del Carmen

• The travel time to Chichen Itzá is about 2 hours from the center of Playa del Carmen  (depending on the route, traffic and without pick-ups). Please note this in your tour planning

• The payment for our excursions will be made in CASH on the afternoon of the excursion day. We accept US Dollars, Mexican Pesos, or Euro (at the current daily exchange rate). It is not possible to accept credit card, bank transfer, or Paypal.
